Themore pins a CPU has, the more power it can receive. And, as you might have guessed, a 12-pin CPU can handle more power than an 8-pin one. So, if you’re a hardcore gamer or a power user, a 12-pin CPU is probably the way to go. It’ll give you more headroom for overclocking and will handle more demanding tasks with ease.
Youonly need the 8pin eps for the cpu. The extra 4 pin is for heavy overclocking. Which with Ambient cooling you won't be able to do. The 8 pin can provide 384w of power easily. Which a 9900k won't really come close to unless hammered maybe. just want to check that the cpu and motherboard post.
Its not a PCIe connector. Those only use split 6 pin and 2 pin plugs or single 8 pin plugs. This connector is two 4 pin plugs, one a standard ATX +12v keying, the other non standard keying that will fit into both ATX+12v and the left side of EPS+12v .If he tried to plug the combined connector into a GPU, it wouldn't fit as pin 6 would block.

thosepsus dont really exist because the 12 pin isnt the common adaptor. nvidia tried to make them standard, but not even their aib boards use them so psu makers dont need to make custom cables just for nvidia FE cards. And succeeded apparently, it's a basis for PCIe 5 power connector.

Oneof the major advantages of a seven-pin connection is the 12-Volt circuit, especially when towing an RV. This circuit can charge your RV’s battery while you’re
Itwill be removed, and it's not the right type for a pin number: A pin number is an integer, whereas a byte is an unspecified piece of data or memory. See also std::byte - cppreference.com. Use pin_size_t if available, it will always be the correct integer type for the target platform, and it clearly shows your intent (P.3: Express intent).
